Dr. Arora is a very experienced and dedicated Consultant Psychiatrist with expertise across the spectrum of adult mental health problems.

After graduating with Honours in Neuroscience from the University of Cambridge, Dr. Arora went on to complete his medical degree at the University of Oxford, qualifying in Medicine and Surgery in 2000. He later specialised in Adult Psychiatry in London, achieving Membership to the Royal College of Psychiatrists in 2004 and becoming a Consultant in 2009. Driven by a deep passion for the field, he pursued further academic development and, in 2010, earned an MSc in Conflict Resolution and Mediation Studies from the University of London.

Before fully committing to private practice in 2023, Dr. Arora served as an NHS Consultant Psychiatrist in West London from 2009 to 2023. During this time, he also held a role as a Quality Improvement Trainer within the NHS and was the Clinical Lead for the West London NHS Trust's Mental Health Clinical Outcome Measure project. From 2012 to 2019, Dr. Arora was an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer and examiner at Imperial College London, where he was honoured with an award for excellence in teaching medical students.

Dr. Arora understands that each person experiences life differently, and that it is the unique blend of emotions, thoughts, senses, memories and relationships that make us who we are. When someone is having difficulties in any of these it can affect the whole of their life, and at those times, it can be overwhelming, and the first step to reach out is a brave one.

‘Most people want to feel understood, and make sense of what is going on for them’ says Dr. Arora, ‘I think everyone wants to trust someone who can help them through a tough time, with integrity and compassion, and a shared goal of getting back to their best’.

Dr. Arora will help you plan your recovery step by step, without jargon, and with unerring hope. ‘Whether it is through talking, complementary therapies, medicines or practical strategies, everyone has it within them to get better – it is a privilege to share in that journey, and see people empowered to make positive changes’.

In addition to one-to-one consultations, Dr. Arora has an interest in workplace wellbeing and gives talks and seminars to organisations of any size.
